Let them eat pie!

After a little recent inspiration, I decided to make pies.
Now, I am no great baker, but I love food that comes in a.) little packages, and b.) one dish.
So I decided to make little pies. Sweet and savory. Dinner and dessert. All wrapped up in happy, flakey crusts.

Filling 1: Beef, onions and mushrooms with gravy.
 

Filling 2: Chicken Pot Pie
(with peas, corn, mushrooms, onions, and butternut squash (because I hate carrots!))



Filling 3: Mashed potato with leeks, dill and cheddar




Filling 4: Apples, pears and cranberries.
(with an oatmeal and brown sugar crumb topping)


And then to the baking.
3 beef and 3 chicken in muffin tins:

12 potato and 12 apple in mini-muffin tins:


And here are all 4 on one plate together:


Oh, and with the rest of all my fillings: muffin-sized beef pies with potato topping, one big chicken pot pie, and one big apple-pear-cranberry cobbler. MmmMmmMmm!!!
