I should probably start by letting you know that last year I had a nice little vegetable garden on my patio (all in pots of course), which I plan to have this year as well. And, in addition to my patio garden, I will also be growing vegetables in the garden at my parents new house.
Now, their garden doesn't even exist yet- it's currently just weeds and underbrush- but it will be something great in the spring!
Therefore, this topic of growth will be an ongoing one...
To start, lets begin with my seeds. Round one: basil, cilantro and yellow tomatoes. I also have a tray of corn that will be for the garden at my parents.
Below is a shot of my "greenhouses".
The small one is a seed-starter kit I got at the garden store. The big one is a giant lantern I got on clearance at Home Goods. I thought it would be Perfect to use as a greenhouse. Plus, since I collect lanterns, it just made it that more appealing to me.
And here are the herbs after one week:
See you soon for some more updates!
:)
